DIY Felt Hamantaschen

OK, this is probably the easiest DIY project ever. It will take you 5 minutes to make a few, top. It is so simple, that I’m embarrassed to even post a tutorial 🙂

You will need:

  • Felt in light brown for the cookies, and dark brown, orange, or whatever color you like for the filling. I like to buy a variety pack so I never need to go to the store for just one, but really – you can get it for $0.30 at JoAnn or Michael’s.
  • Scissors
  • Needle and embroidery thread

How to make these super easy beauties?

Trace a glass on the light brown felt, and cut it. Trace the glass once more on a paper – and then trim it to create a triangle to fit in the middle. Cut triangles from your dark brown or orange felt and place in the middle of the circles.

Pinch two corners together and sew together, and repeat for all corners.

That’s it! Told you it was super simple!

If you make it, please share on my Facebook page! I love getting your feedback, and seeing your projects! 🙂
